This post contains short summaries of my Eberron campaign, along with information about the characters. We are playing an in person game that takes place in Eberron. There are five characters. One of the players has a lot of experience with 5e Dungeons and Dragons, the other four do not.
The characters:
Branstorm Ryder
Branstorm is a human fighter. Branstorm’s biggest fear is spiders. He lost his family and many friends in the war, and is traveling to Sharn to make a name for himself and the big city seems like a good spot to do that.
Eko Arthok
Eko is a tiefling druid is protecting Zan. Eko’s biggest fear is Sora Kell and her daughters. At the beginning of the war, at first smaller animals like birds and mice went missing in the forest, then larger animals like deers/boars/bears started to thin out. It was assumed the due to the smaller animals missing the larger died off from starvation. However, those in her Druid Order and some from her hermitage also started to go missing including a very close member.
George
George doesn’t know his name, or even what he is, other than a curious artificer. He looks like he’s a small version of a warforged, or some other clockwork creation. George wants to figure out what he is, and what his purpose in life is (I’ve not posted other player’s goals as those are possibly secrets, but George has no secrets). His biggest fear is rust and water. He doesn’t know what effect the war had on him, as he can’t remember anything more than a few months ago.
Yuri Thunderpuncher
Yuri is a dwarven cleric. Yuri is most afraid of demons and rakshasa. The war is probably what caused him to start drinking so much, or to search for meaning in life, or to be afraid of demons. He blames all of his woes on the war.
Zan Eventide
Zan is a Warlock played. Zan is also afraid of Sora Kell but has some hidden fears as well. He grew up sheltered from the great war, but has seen enough of the after effects of it to know that his purpose if valid, and that war is bad.
The Adventures
Riding the Rails
(link to part 1) (link to write up 2)
We start off with the characters on a lightning rail headed to Sharn. Bad people attack them while they are sleeping, and many small battles occur. Eventually they defeat all the badies and learn to drive the train to Sharn. Moved to level 2 after this.
Entrance to Sharn
(link to Entering Sharn)
This combines parts of several published adventures. The adventurers play Sharn Chicken (well, three of them do) and find a dead body and fight a warforged assassin/barbarian on their way to their free house.
Forgotten Forge, Act 2
The players meet with a Lady of House Cannith, and agree to find a lost treasure in the forgotten forge, having to go through the sewers to get there.
