It’s quiet in the coffee shop
No idea how they stay open at this point
They really need Adidas to fully open
But do the rest of us want that
A big office open again?
It would help all the restaurants and bars
Which keeps them open for us
And helps the employees of those places
Those of us that can work from home
We are privileged
Compared to those that can’t
We need to realize that the world
Is more nuanced
More nuanced than

As I get all serious
Three customers come in
And somehow that feels like a lot….
I wonder if I should edit these observations
Make them more thoughtful

Food.
I never think of getting food here
But that egg sandwich looked good
It’s the annoying, loud, guy
With his barky dog.
They are well matched
The guy who yells into his phone
In the small shop
And the dog that barks
Loudly,I am reminded
Just now
Inside the small shop
There are also
Actually people meeting
In public
Like the old days
I suppose
I should go home
And write
Write some fiction
You can’t be a writer
If you don’t write
I’ve been thinking
