I’m going to go to all the breweries in the area with a friend(s), but, wow, it seems hard to find an up to date list of all the breweries in the area. Even one that just lists all the breweries at the time of publication…..So, I’m going to track them here, I guess. Alphabetically, in reverse order. That way, we don’t have to think about which one to go to next.
Alphabetical (reverse order) listing of Portland, OR area breweries. I may or may not post about each as we visit, we’ll see, I guess.
On a fun note, I am looking on Maps for all of them, and I’m up to 58, on one side of the river, in one city (not even crossing to Vancouver yet….ok, there might be an Gresham or OR City in that number). Anyone is, of course, free to join us.
Zoiglhaus Brewing Company (June 8, 2023)
A brewery specializing in german beers. I know I went there once with Julianne….and it was ok. We’ll see tomorrow. They get an A+ for listing their beers on tap on the front page of their site! (Review here)
Wayfinder Beer – Update: We’ve decided not to repeat (most) breweries we’ve visited – so here are some thoughts. The two things I remember are: A sign in the door for a DnD game night; we started talking about Reese Witherspoon, and the bartender said “I’m gayer than gay, but she’s as amazing in person as she is on screen. I served her once, and she’s beautiful and super nice.” Or, something like that, it was months ago….anyway, I don’t really remember the beer, but I do recall liking it. The beers had more flavor than the Zoiglhaus beers (which I drank last night), and the smoky beer was good for sure. IF I keep doing these reviews, I’ll go back and do a full one.

We visited the Pearl location, which is a great place. The beer was mostly good, and we 100% recommend visiting here if you are in the area. (Review here) (note, it is not inexpensive, and I wasn’t thrilled with the price of the taster tray)
