Subtle as a Hammer to the Head

I’ve started re-writing You’ve Always Been Alone. The changes are based on some of the things I posted yesterday. It was easy to write this new part of the story, but, man, re-reading it? It is as subtle as a hammer to the head.

Yes, for some reason, this book is about politics (why can’t I just write simple, escapism, fantasy?). And freedom. And the choices we make. But, that doesn’t mean it has to hit you over the head with dialogue that makes your points, Mike! I’m sure I can fix this, but, wow, it needs fixing.

Also, in a purely rambling fashion, I should remember to eat and drink some water. And, since it isn’t raining, take a long walk.
